OTEA
Welcome to the homepage of OTEA. We are an independent network of Black, Indigenous, and LGBTQ Occupational Therapists that collectively support the increase of inclusion, diversity, equity, and access in occupational therapy in the Greater Toronto Area.

VISION & VALUES
We aspire to form a network of Canadian Occupational Therapists with diverse identities to promote greater participation of historically marginalized groups within the profession. We will begin by offering a mentorship program to prospective and current students, as well as practicing OTs. In addition, we strive to increase awareness of equity issues and how they link to occupational justice and occupational therapy to the public broadly.

We believe that human rights and occupational justice can be upheld by creating social conditions for inclusion, equity, diversity, and access
